Our Mission

At the NAACP Youth Council, we are committed to advancing climate justice as a vital part of creating healthy, thriving communities. We believe that everyone– regardless of background–deserves clean air, safe neighborhoods, quality education, and a sustainable future. Guided by the voices and leadership of youth, we work to raise awareness, inspire action, and build lasting connections between environmental well-being and social equity. Our mission is rooted in care, compassion, and the belief that justice means protecting
both people and the planet.
